Financial Planning for Tampa Bay Families and Business Owners.
Investments, retirement, estate, business, and risk, coordinated under one plan. Work with a Wesley Chapel financial advisor who explains every decision in plain English.
A business owner who became your financial advisor.
I'm Mike Garcia, AAMS®, a financial advisor with BRIA Capital Group. Before financial services, I spent 20+ years as an entrepreneur, building restaurants in California and Louisiana, hair salons, and a catering company. In 2018, Jessica and I moved our family from Colorado to Wesley Chapel.
That background matters. When I sit across from a business owner or a family thinking about retirement, I'm not reading from a script. I've lived the financial decisions that come with building something.
Five planning areas, one coordinated plan.
Most advisors specialize in one piece. We look at how investments, retirement, estate, business, and risk decisions affect each other, because in real life, they do.

Trusted by Tampa Bay families and business owners.
Common questions, answered plainly.
Who do you typically work with?
Families and small-business owners in the Tampa Bay area, generally with $250k+ in investable assets or a business they're building toward sale or succession. That said, the discovery call is free, if I'm not the right fit, I'll tell you and point you somewhere that is.
How are you paid?
Fees are transparent and discussed up front. Depending on the engagement, that may be a flat planning fee, an asset-based advisory fee, or commission for certain insurance products. You'll always know what you're paying and why before anything is signed.
Are you a fiduciary?
When acting in an advisory capacity, yes, I'm held to a fiduciary standard, meaning I'm legally required to act in your best interest. For insurance products, I work to recommend what actually fits your plan.
Do I have to live in Tampa Bay?
No. I'm based in Wesley Chapel and serve most of the Tampa Bay area in person, but I work with clients across Florida and several other states virtually.
What's the first meeting like?
A 30-minute call, no obligation. We'll talk through what you're working on, what you'd like clarity on, and whether it makes sense to keep talking. No pitch, no homework required up front.
Let's see if we're a good fit.
A 30-minute introductory call, no pressure, no obligation. We'll talk through your goals and whether working together makes sense.
